1997 Films Ranked by Rating
NOTE: As you'll see when I finally manage to compile my 1997 Top 15, the following ratings aren't definitive - i.e. the top ten movies here aren't necessarily my top ten movies of the year. These are the ratings I give just after I see the movie - I have no way of knowing how I'll remember it six months (or even a week) later. Some films grow and resonate in the memory, some just evaporate. Sometimes I'll come back and change the rating, most of the time I won't. So now you know.
However, with that proviso, this is a strictly hierarchical list - i.e., when two films have the same rating, the one that comes first is the one I like just a li-i-ttle bit more. But, you're asking, do I like it a little more now or I did I like it a little more when I first saw it? And the answer is...Look, don't you have something you have to do? Who let you in here anyway?
